Preamble We, the sovereign peoples, worlds, and civilizations of the Galactic Star Union, mindful of the long journey from division to unity, from conflict to cooperation, and from isolation to shared destiny, do hereby establish this Constitution as the supreme charter of our Union. We are bound not merely by treaties, but by the recognition that the fate of the stars is shared by all who dwell among them. Across the distances of light-years, between suns of every hue, and upon worlds of every climate, we pledge to uphold the principles of liberty, justice, mutual defense, peaceful coexistence, scientific enlightenment, and the preservation of the rich diversity of life.
